Job Summary
Design, develop, test, and integrate complex software capabilities in a cloud environment using AWS technologies and Infrastructure as Code. Lead performance tuning, system optimization, and cloud-native architecture while supporting full lifecycle software engineering in an Agile/Scrum setting. Perform operations and sustainment functions to ensure mission continuity, providing technical direction and mentorship to junior engineers. This role focuses on next-generation cyber capabilities hosted on large-scale compute clusters within Peraton's Cyber Intelligence team in Laurel, MD.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Eight (8) or more years of directly related experience in software development/engineering
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in a related technical field
- Must have, or be willing to obtain prior to start, one of the following Cloud Developer Certifications: AWS Certified Developer-Associate, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), Elastic Certified Engineer
