Job Summary
Develop, enhance, and prototype compliance and business processing analytics tools while investigating and integrating Machine Learning/AI algorithms to automate compliance functions. Design, implement, and test new features for Apache/Accumulo to support large content and metadata repositories, alongside developing web-based user interfaces and REST-based APIs for operational data. Conduct hands-on training sessions covering software configuration and programming exercises, and design analytics that effectively run on petabyte-scale datasets using advanced parallel programming techniques. Monitor metrics for developed tools and data flows, ensuring secure deployment of mission-relevant analytics. Requires TS/SCI clearance with agency-appropriate polygraph and seven years combined experience in Java, C++, or Python.

- seven (7) years experience combined programming with all of the following languages: Java, C++, or Python
- designing and developing applications in a Windows or UNIX/Linux operating environment
- database technologies such as Apache Accumulo, MongoDB, ScyllaDB, Google Cloud Bigtable, Amazon DynamoDB, Azure Cosmos DB, Postgres, or equivalent technologies
- distributed batch- or stream-processing solutions such as Ray, Apache Spark, Apache Flink, Apache Beam, Databricks, cloud-native data-processing services, or equivalent technologies
- distributed file or object storage systems such as HDFS, Amazon S3, Azure Data Lake Storage, Google Cloud Storage, or equivalent technologies
- requirements analysis and design for one (1) or more object-oriented systems
- Kubernetes, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Computing Services
- Minimum 1 year hands-on MLOps experience, including fine-tuning and operationalizing small ML models
