Job Summary
Design, deploy, and automate secure hybrid cloud infrastructure using Morpheus, VMware vSphere, and SDN solutions across multiple DISA environments. Provision cloud resources, manage Key Management Systems, and execute infrastructure upgrades, patching, and capacity planning via PowerShell, Terraform, or Ansible. Troubleshoot complex virtualization, networking, and compliance issues while maintaining technical documentation and adhering to DoD security standards including NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP. This role requires approximately 50% travel to customer sites in Mechanicsburg, Ogden, Oklahoma City, and Montgomery, with a salary range of $140,000 to $180,000.
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- US Citizen
- 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise cloud, virtualization, or infrastructure environments
- Hands-on experience administering Morpheus cloud management and orchestration
- Strong VMware vSphere administration experience (ESXi and vCenter)
- Experience supporting Software-Defined Networking (SDN)
- Experience implementing or administering Key Management Systems (KMS)
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls, and VPN technologies
- Experience supporting DoD, Federal, or other highly regulated environments
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
- Approximately 50% travel to customer locations
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- VMware certifications (VCP-DCV, VCP-VCF, or equivalent)
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or other DoD 8570/8140 compliant certifications
- Experience with PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages
- Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and infrastructure security best practices
- Previous consulting or customer-facing engineering experience
