Job Summary
Cloud Security Architect for USAF Cloud One Architecture and Common Shared Services contract. Role involves designing scalable cloud-native solutions across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Oracle Cloud, coordinating across multiple teams, mentoring juniors, and delivering RMF/ATO-related artifacts. Responsibilities include system design, development leadership, security tooling, automated validation, continuous monitoring, and documentation to support IATT/ATO milestones. Must align with CSRA/Cloud SRG/STIG requirements, perform vulnerability and patch management, produce reference architectures and technical standards, and collaborate with government cybersecurity teams. Requires strong cloud experience, security controls migration (NIST 800-53 Rev 4 to Rev 5), and ability to work in a hybrid remote/on-site setup near Hanscom AFB (Boston, MA).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years or more of experience; Master’s and 6+ years or more of experience, additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
- Active Secret clearance
- US citizenship required
- Interim Secret clearance required to start; Ability to obtain Secret clearance required to maintain employment
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+ or equivalent (IAT-2)
