Job Summary
Provide high-level architectural guidance for enterprise-scale cloud migration initiatives within the AWS environment, partnering with application teams, security, and infrastructure to define migration solutions and resolve technical challenges. Lead discovery and solutioning activities to assess application readiness, identify dependencies, and recommend approaches that balance cost, risk, and long-term maintainability. Coach engineering teams on systematic troubleshooting, incident response, and delivery processes while driving the cloud migration roadmap on time and within budget. Establish security-first principles, enforce compliance standards, and manage cross-functional dependencies to ensure successful delivery outcomes aligned with business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Ten or more years of relevant experience
- This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week
Desired Qualifications
- Experience leading enterprise cloud migration and solutioning initiatives across AWS or other public cloud platforms
- Strong understanding of application architecture, cloud migration patterns, scalability, resiliency, security, and operational readiness
- Proven ability to collaborate with application teams, architecture, security, infrastructure, operations, and program stakeholders
- Experience working with third-party partners, system integrators, or managed service providers in large-scale technology delivery environments
- Strong understanding of enterprise system architecture, performance optimization, and engineering best practices in agile environments
- Ability to assess technical options, identify risks and dependencies, and recommend practical solutions aligned to business objectives
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- Proven collaboration and influencing skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives and drive successful technology outcomes
