Cloud Platform Lead - Disaster Recovery

Job Summary
Design and maintain resiliency frameworks and capabilities for applications teams, developing automated scripts, templates, and workflows for disaster recovery provisioning, scaling, and testing. Partner with infrastructure and application groups to identify threat scenarios, assess impacts, and execute regular monitoring, reporting, and regulatory risk assessments. Conduct detailed evaluations of platform readiness, capture disaster recovery records, and develop dashboards to monitor recovery environment health. Lead cross-functional delivery to ensure business continuity and minimize risks in a financial services environment.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in resiliency, disaster recovery, or business continuity for midsize to large enterprises
- proven technical leadership delivering enterprise-scale DR and resiliency solutions
- preference in regulated or financial services environments
- bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field
- Strong AWS platform engineering expertise
- hands-on experience with AWS Resiliency Hub
- hands-on experience with AWS Fault Injector Service
- ability to design, implement, validate, and operationalize AWS first resiliency and recovery strategies across cloud, hybrid, and on prem environments
- Demonstrated ability to design and evolve enterprise disaster recovery and resiliency frameworks
- delivering repeatable, automated patterns and scalable solutions consumable by application teams
- Deep experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
