Cloud Platform Engineering Leader

Job Summary
Lead and mentor a high-performing team of 4–6 cloud engineers focused on cloud platform engineering, automation, and operational excellence; contribute hands-on to architecture, engineering, troubleshooting, and automation; design and evolve enterprise Azure platform capabilities; develop reusable IaC modules and standardized deployment patterns; promote self-service, automation, and developer enablement; collaborate with architects, security, networking, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable, secure cloud solutions; drive cloud automation initiatives, standardized services, deployment templates, and CI/CD capabilities; enable application teams to consume approved cloud services through standardized practices; support cloud transformation initiatives focused on standardization, automation, governance, and operational maturity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field
- 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, cloud engineering, or platform engineering roles
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing or mentoring technical engineering teams
- Strong recent hands-on experience designing and supporting Azure cloud platforms
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM, or similar)
- Experience implementing or supporting CI/CD platforms and automation frameworks
- Strong understanding of Azure networking, identity, security, monitoring, and governance capabilities
- Experience driving cloud standardization, automation, and operational maturity initiatives
- Azure certifications or equivalent practical experience (preferred)
