Cloud Platform Engineer

Cloud Platform Engineer at mydentist responsible for building, running and improving Azure services across the 500-site estate, following guidance from the Principal Cloud Engineer. You will design and implement infrastructure as code using Terraform or Bicep to deploy Azure resources (IaaS/PaaS, networking, identity) and maintain a secure, Zero Trust-enabled environment with Microsoft Entra, Conditional Access, PIM and Azure Policy. You will collaborate with Cybersecurity engineering and move toward automated, repeatable changes, learning and applying tooling and data products as needed. The role requires 2-4 years of hands-on cloud/infrastructure engineering experience (AZ-104 or equivalent desirable) and a solid understanding of core Azure services, cybersecurity concepts, and security best practices. It benefits from exposure to Microsoft data products (e.g., Fabric, Data Factory, SQL, Purview) and an interest in automation and AI tooling. The position is advertised as full-time with hybrid working arrangements from the UK-based Support Centre, offering a supportive and inclusive team culture and a focus on delivering secure, reliable cloud services to support the dental network.
