Job Summary
Hybrid Cloud Ops Suite Engineer/Principal Architect at HPE responsible for leading customer engagements, delivering technical presentations and live demos, developing solution-level ROI/business-case models, guiding presales and partners, and shaping roadmap through field feedback. Role emphasizes mapping customer needs to Morpheus Enterprise capabilities, automation-driven benefits, and cross-functional collaboration with sales, product managers, and engineering. Requires substantial hands-on cloud/virtualization experience, IaC tooling (Terraform/Ansible), scripting (Python/PowerShell), and strong communication; familiarity with Morpheus Enterprise or similar orchestration platforms and hybrid-cloud environments is beneficial.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field recommended.
- 10-15 years of IT infrastructure, cloud, virtualization, or hybrid-cloud automation experience.
- Hands-on experience with public and/or private cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenStack, or enterprise private cloud platforms).
- Experience with cloud automation and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- REST API integration; scripting (PowerShell / Bash).
- CI/CD pipelines, GitOps practices, or DevOps toolchains.
- Hands-on with Morpheus Enterprise (preferred) or comparable platforms (VMware Aria/vRA, Nutanix Calm, CloudBolt).
- VMware ESXi, KVM/HVM, Hyper-V, or cloud-native compute; Linux/Windows fundamentals.
- Python, PowerShell, or API-driven automation scripting.
- Familiarity with HPE’s hybrid-cloud and cloud management portfolio.
- Excellent communication and business-value translation skills.
- Experience with presales, enablement, and partner collaboration.
- English language proficiency.
