Job Summary
Own and evolve the internal IT environment with Azure infrastructure, IAM across Azure, security operations, and disaster recovery. This senior, true player/coach role combines strategic ownership with hands-on execution and requires partnering with Engineering, Security, Finance, People Operations, helpdesk, and business stakeholders to ensure a secure, auditable, and responsive IT environment. Contributes to system design, observability, and SaaS ecosystem, and maintains awareness of vendor platforms. This is a hybrid remote role with onsite presence in Pittston, PA at least every other month, and candidates must live within driving distance of either the Pittston, PA or Omaha, NE BHDIC offices.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience leading or owning IT operations in a mid-sized organization
- Strong working knowledge of Azure, including identity, RBAC, governance, subscriptions, and cost management
- Hands-on experience with identity and access management, endpoint management, and security operations
- Experience building and maintaining IT processes that support audit and compliance needs
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a willingness to engage in hands-on problem solving
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- High level of accountability and ownership of outcomes
