Job Summary
Cloud Network Engineer needed to support US Treasury TCloud multi-cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities include designing, deploying and supporting network infrastructure across cloud platforms (Azure, OCI, GCP) with emphasis on cloud security, SDN, IAM, and VPC/subnet architectures. Must install and manage network devices and services (routers, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, QoS) and perform ongoing monitoring, capacity planning, upgrades, and issue resolution. Required: US Citizenship with ability to obtain a Public Trust; Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years or Master’s with 4+ years of related experience; strong Terraform experience including AWS security group deployment; experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco IPsec configurations; hands-on knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, SSL; EKS experience; DoD STIGs/IAVM familiarity; 24/7 on-call rotation. Desired: Azure Fundamentals, GCP/Oracle Cloud Certifications; CCNP or higher; PCNSE certification. Remote work options available for US locations.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship
- Bachelor's degree and seven years or more of related experience OR Master's degree and four years or more of related experience
- Experience with Terraform
- AWS Security group deployment using Terraform
- Experience with Palo Alto firewalls
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco IPsec (AES 256), Firewall, IPS, route-maps, and NACLs
- Strong knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP network technologies; DNS, DHCP, TFTP, NAT, and SSL
- Experience with EKS Cluster
- Working knowledge of DoD STIGs and IAVM
- Participation in 24/7 on-call rotation
Desired Qualifications
- CCNP or higher (CCIE and/or CISSP highly valued)
- Palo Alto Networks PCNSE certification
- Azure Fundamentals, GCP or Oracle Cloud Certifications
- Security clearance considerations (Public Trust) beneficial
