Cloud Network Engineer

Job Summary
Implement and manage cloud networking solutions across modern platforms, automating provisioning with Terraform and CI/CD practices. Build, maintain, and optimize secure, highly available network architectures for routers, firewalls, and VPNs while simplifying complexity and improving reliability. Monitor performance proactively, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with Platform, Security, and Engineering teams to drive operational excellence. Contribute to technical standards and documentation initiatives. This role supports the Tech Platform team's mission to engineer a scalable foundation for Farfetch's global luxury marketplace connecting customers in over 190 countries.
Required Qualifications
- A graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experienced in cloud networking, preferably in Azure
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including routing, switching, VPNs, DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing, and firewalls
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
- Experience with Automation using Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages
- Familiar with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines
- Proficient in English
Desired Qualifications
- AWS or GCP experience
- Experience with hybrid cloud networking, SD-WAN, or Zero Trust architectures
- Familiarity with network observability and monitoring tools
- Experience with Kubernetes networking and container platforms
