Job Summary
Lead network architecture and design by developing specifications, implementing, and maintaining cloud network and security architecture for systems and applications. Diagnose and resolve routing and interconnectivity issues while deploying configuration changes using infrastructure as code. Provide cost-effective solutions for continuous expansion and collaborate with NOAA NWave to ensure TIC compliance and interoperability with enterprise and on-premise infrastructure. Requires BS degree, 10+ years network design experience including 5 years with AWS and SDN, and U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status.
Required Qualifications
- BS or equiv
- min 10 yrs prof exp
- 10+ years network design experience
- 5 years of cloud Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience
- software-defined networking (SDN) experience
- Experience working with Trusted Internet Connection (TIC)
- network security experience
- Experience working with NOAA NWave
- experience with the NOAA Cyber Security Division or similar services
- Experience with Transit Network VPCs
- VPC Peering experience
- AWS Transit Gateway experience
- Direct Connect experience
- U.S. citizen
- U.S. lawful permanent resident (i.e. green card holder)
