Job Summary
Operate and evolve business-critical Mobile Core platforms for Swisscom using Kubernetes, GitOps, and automation. Design and implement modern platform solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and enhance system resilience through sustainable automation. Drive continuous improvement to increase efficiency and reduce operational overhead while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors. Work in an agile environment with flexible hours, offering a pleasant working environment and opportunities for professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science (University, ETH, University of Applied Sciences) or equivalent professional experience
- Experience operating in Linux-based platforms and services
- Core understanding of networking concepts (IP, DNS, routing and switching)
- Ability to design declarative automation based on IaC tools (such as Ansible) and custom software solution (such as python, golang)
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in Kubernetes, holding a CKA is an advantage
- Strong sense of ownership and a solution-oriented mindset
- Enjoy working collaboratively and sharing knowledge within and across teams
- Curiosity, adaptability and a passion for continuous learning and improvement
