Job Summary
Design and implement secure, scalable integration architectures using iPaaS solutions, Microsoft Azure, or a combination of both, translating business requirements into practical interface and connectivity designs. Configure, automate, and maintain integrations through infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and reusable connectors while supporting the full lifecycle from provisioning to decommissioning. Build and maintain reliable interfaces between core systems, the new CRM, and approved applications, ensuring compliance with security controls, regulatory obligations, and operational reliability. Lead technical guidance for integration decisions, troubleshoot complex cloud and deployment issues, and drive the retirement of custom dependencies to reduce single-person risk. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Software Engineering, Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity to deliver resilient solutions aligned with the credit union's configure-first approach.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering, integration engineering, cloud engineering, DevOps, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing production integrations using an iPaaS solution, Microsoft Azure, or a comparable cloud platform
- At least 3 years of experience designing and implementing APIs, microservices, messaging, interface orchestration, or comparable integration solutions
- Experience with iPaaS solutions, Azure integration resources, infrastructure as code, CI/CD automation, APIs, microservices, messaging, and production operations
- Experience troubleshooting complex cloud, integration, deployment, and availability issues
- Experience working with cross-functional technical teams and third-party technology providers
- Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Azure integration services and cloud-native application services, with the ability to evaluate and use an iPaaS solution
- Strong understanding of API design, API management, authentication, authorization, encryption, versioning, and integration patterns
- Experience with synchronous APIs, asynchronous messaging, webhooks, event-driven architecture, interface orchestration, and cloud service integration
- Practical experience with Terraform
Desired Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Developer Associate, Azure Integration Services, or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification
- Cloud integration, cloud security, or DevOps certification
- Financial-services or other regulated-industry experience
