Job Summary
Design and maintain secure, scalable AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and automate CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery. Implement observability, monitoring, and alerting solutions while strengthening security through IAM best practices and automated compliance controls. Migrate on-premises, VMware, and Hyper-V environments into AWS, support disaster recovery planning, and collaborate with Software Engineering, Data, and Product teams to build resilient systems for reservations and guest experiences. Work hybrid in Fort Lauderdale to ensure critical hospitality operations remain available around the clock.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related discipline
- Hands-on experience designing and administering AWS cloud environments using services such as EC2, ECS, RDS, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, and related technologies
- Experience migrating virtualized and physical infrastructure from VMware, Hyper-V, or on-premises environments into AWS
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and infrastructure automation
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices including IAM, least privilege, secrets management, encryption, and compliance
- Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability tools in distributed cloud environments
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work across cross-functional engineering teams
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications; Kubernetes experience is a plus
- Experience supporting FinOps initiatives, cloud cost optimization, or infrastructure performance tuning
- Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, or other compliance frameworks
- Experience supporting disaster recovery, incident response, or business continuity planning
- Exposure to scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash
