Job Summary
Design, deploy, and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure including Windows Server workloads, networking components, and hybrid identity services. Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS while assisting with on-premises to cloud migrations. Monitor system health, automate administrative tasks, and collaborate on architecture, security, and disaster recovery planning. Support Azure SQL, Batch compute environments, and future multi-cloud initiatives across AWS and Google Cloud Platform. Create technical documentation and provide guidance for complex infrastructure issues.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).
- Four (4) or more years of experience administering Microsoft Azure infrastructure in an enterprise environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft 365 identity services.
- Hands-on experience deploying and administering Azure Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Virtual Networks, VPNs, Azure Backup, Azure Monitor, and related Azure services.
- Working knowledge of Azure networking concepts including routing, VPNs, firewalls, and network security.
- Experience migrating servers or applications into Microsoft Azure.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Experience supporting Azure SQL Server environments.
- Experience with Azure Batch or other high-performance compute environments.
- Experience with Azure Data Lake Storage or related Azure data services.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Bicep, ARM Templates, or Terraform.
- Experience supporting AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform environments.
- Experience with Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Sentinel, or other enterprise security platforms.
