Job Summary
Design, implement, and maintain reliable and scalable infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code, automation, and CI/CD pipelines. Perform day-to-day production troubleshooting, performance tuning, and root cause analysis while participating fully in on-call rotations and production support. Own assigned services, tools, or reliability initiatives to improve monitoring, alerting, observability, and operational processes, ensuring adherence to SLOs, SLIs, and SLAs. Execute work aligned to operational priorities and technical debt reduction by collaborating with SREs, developers, and security teams. This hands-on individual contributor role supports the reliability of Broadridge's fintech platform, which processes over 7 billion communications annually and underpins daily trading of over $15 trillion in global securities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud platforms
- Terraform or similar IaC tools
- CI/CD tools
- Docker and Kubernetes
- Monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, ELK, Splunk)
- Python or Bash scripting
- Solid SQL skills and workload analysis experience
- Kafka experience (AWS MSK or Confluent)
- Experience supporting production systems and participating in on-call
- Understanding of distributed systems, networking, and security
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in 24/7 or high-transaction production environments
- Cloud or platform-related certifications
- Fintech or regulated systems exposure
