Job Summary
Lead delivery of advanced cloud infrastructure solutions within our Platform Engineering team, driving workload migrations from on-premises datacenters to AWS and enabling clients to harness cloud capabilities. Collaborate on architecture, security, and compliance across compute, storage, networking, and managed services, and work on migration strategies, tooling, and modernization initiatives for Fortune 1000 clients.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with AWS cloud migration (EC2, EBS, VPCs, Migration Hub, MGN)
- VMware environment assessment & migration planning
- Strong AWS architecture, security, and compliance knowledge
- Experience with on-prem VMware/other platform-based VM lift-and-shift to AWS
- Familiarity with migration tools (CloudEndure, AWS Migration Hub, MGN, SMS, DMS)
- Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, auto-scaling, Landing Zone, Control Tower)
- Knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL)
- Container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS)
- Experience in Agile and DevOps environments
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect)
- Windows and/or Linux OS troubleshooting
