Cloud Foundational Service Product Delivery Manager
On-siteJersey City, New Jersey, United States
Job Summary
Lead end-to-end product delivery processes across Cloud Foundational Services, managing intake through closure while executing backlog planning and prioritization to translate demand into actionable commitments. Mitigate delivery risks by coordinating security issue triage and escalating blockers, then drive feasibility decisions by synthesizing resource availability and technical constraints. Report performance using transparent dashboards tracking delivery predictability, aging work, and SLA adherence, and partner with leaders to refine quarterly planning and capacity assumptions. Automate process optimization through scripting workflows in VS Code to improve reporting speed and maintain accurate resource allocation data in shared systems. Coach teams on execution rituals and administer Jira backlog management practices to improve hygiene and traceability.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience (or equivalent expertise) in product delivery, program delivery, or a closely related domain.
- Strong understanding of delivery practices with a demonstrated track record of implementing continuous improvement processes measured through delivery KPIs.
- Experience in product or platform-wide release management, including deployment processes and delivery strategies.
- Effective communication and team-building skills, with the ability to align stakeholders on priorities, milestones, and tradeoffs using clear, inclusive language.
- Demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end intake and planning workflows, including demand shaping, prioritization, and dependency management.
- Proven capability to manage delivery risk, including security/risk issue tracking, escalation, and mitigation planning to protect delivery commitments.
- Proficiency with agile tooling and backlog operations (e.g., Jira), including planning workflows, reporting, and maintaining backlog quality.
- Experience managing and maintaining resource allocation data with accuracy, consistency, and operational rigor (e.g., capacity assumptions, allocation changes, and historical tracking).
- Ability to analyze and visualize process data to produce actionable insights (e.g., cycle time, throughput, aging work, and SLA performance).
- Understanding of public cloud providers and capabilities, with AWS required and Azure and/or GCP exposure.
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics.
- Proficiency using Copilot in VS Code to implement scripts for data manipulation and visualization (e.g., improving reporting turnaround time and data quality).
