Job Summary
Cloud FinOps Analyst to build and manage cost models for cloud and AI expenses across AWS, Snowflake, OpenAI/Anthropic; responsibilities include OpenAI/Anthropic cost modeling, Snowflake resource audits, vendor pricing analysis, AWS cost optimization, anomaly detection, tagging governance, and delivering dashboards and budgets using QuickSight. Requires 6–7 years of relevant experience, Snowflake pricing knowledge, AWS cost-management familiarity, SQL and Python data analysis, and strong technical communication to engineers.
Required Qualifications
- 6–7+ years of professional experience in cloud financial management, technology systems analysis, or engineering operations
- Platform knowledge: Snowflake credit structures and LLM pricing metrics (input/output tokens, context windows)
- AWS infrastructure knowledge: core services, pricing models, and native cost management tools
- Data analysis: SQL and Python to extract and manipulate cloud billing data and API logs
- Data visualization: experience building dashboards in QuickSight or equivalent BI tools
- FinOps practices: applying FinOps principles to cloud and software service consumption
- Financial modeling: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, ROI calculation
- Technical communication: translating cloud billing data into actionable tasks for engineers
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future; DISCO not sponsoring visas
