Job Summary
Design and maintain cloud infrastructure in GCP using Terraform, architecting Kubernetes clusters across dev, staging, and production environments. Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines with Bazel to enable safe, rapid deployments while ensuring environment parity and reducing incidents. Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting to establish SLIs/SLOs and reduce mean time to resolution for real-time healthcare workloads. Strengthen IAM, secrets management, and security controls to support HIPAA and SOC2 compliance requirements. Work closely with backend and AI engineers to harden infrastructure and improve developer velocity within a monorepo.
Required Qualifications
- 4–7+ years of DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering experience
- Strong hands-on experience with GCP
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes
- GKE preferred
- Deep experience with Terraform
- Deep experience with infrastructure-as-code
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working with Bazel
- Experience working with similar build systems
- Experience working with build systems in production environments
- Strong understanding of networking
- Strong understanding of IAM
- Strong understanding of cloud security fundamentals
- Experience supporting production systems
- Experience supporting systems with uptime requirements
