Job Summary
Cloud Engineer responsible for designing, planning, and implementing secure cloud migrations and adopting new cloud technologies to support business and project needs. Supports multi-cloud environments across AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure, with IaC (Terraform, Ansible, AWX) to provision infrastructure, CI/CD integration, and automation for scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-based solutions. Responsibilities include building cloud instances, defining on-prem and cloud infrastructure components, ensuring consistency across dev/test/prod, configuring and deploying modular cloud-based applications, and training IT teams on cloud technologies. Certifications and security requirements emphasize DoD/DoD cyberspace workforce qualifications and cloud platform certifications; US citizenship and active SECRET clearance are required. - Microsoft Certified Azure DevOps Engineer Expert OR Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert OR AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Above OR Google Associate Cloud Engineer or Above
- 3-5 years of hands-on cloud platforms experience
- Experience designing and implementing IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS solutions
- Familiarity with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible
- Experience with Docker/OpenShift Kubernetes
- Understanding of DISA STIGs or CIS frameworks
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams and independently
- Clearance: US Citizenship (SECRET)
