Job Summary
Operate and evolve Kubernetes infrastructures by planning, building, and maintaining clusters using kubeadm, microk8s, and k3s. Ensure stable software offerings through Linux server administration, PostgreSQL database management, and incident analysis with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry. Collaborate with development teams on GitOps automation while continuously improving security and scalability. Evaluate new cloud and open-source technologies to enhance platform reliability. This role supports the Software and Solutions division of VCE GmbH, focusing on reliable, scalable, cloud-native solutions for demanding customers.
Required Qualifications
- Abgeschlossene Ausbildung im IT-Umfeld (z. B. Fachinformatiker) oder vergleichbare Berufserfahrung
- Praktische Erfahrung im Betrieb von Kubernetes-Umgebungen
- Sehr gute Linux-Kenntnisse (Ubuntu, Debian oder vergleichbar)
- Erfahrung mit Cloud-nahen Infrastrukturen und verteilten Systemen
- Kenntnisse im Bereich Container, Networking und Storage
- Verständnis für Monitoring, Logging und Observability
- Strukturierte, eigenverantwortliche Arbeitsweise
- Interesse an modernen Cloud- und Plattform-Architekturen
- Bereitschaft, dich kontinuierlich weiterzuentwickeln
Desired Qualifications
- Erfahrung mit GitOps, CI/CD oder Infrastructure as Code
- Kenntnisse in IT-Security, Zertifikatsmanagement oder Compliance (z. B. ISO 27001)
- Erfahrung mit hochverfügbaren Systemen und produktiven Plattformen
