Cloud Engineer GenAI

Job Summary
Design, build, and operate the GenAI cloud platform on AWS (Bedrock, SageMaker, ECS/Fargate) as infrastructure-as-code with Terraform; deploy and scale LLM/model-serving endpoints for latency, throughput, reliability and cost; automate CI/CD and LLMOps pipelines; enable retrieval & data plumbing with RAG and vector databases; enforce security, identity, secrets management, guardrails and compliance; make the platform observable and affordable with monitoring, logging, tracing and FinOps cost optimization; champion cloud-native design and deliver consumable platform services to GenAI and Predictive AI squads while helping colleagues up- and cross-skill in GenAI on the cloud.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent through experience
- Solid experience as a cloud, DevOps, platform or infrastructure engineer, ideally on AWS
- Understanding of Agentic AI: LLM tool calling, MCP and A2A
- Strong infrastructure-as-code skills (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Hands-on experience with containers and Kubernetes
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitLab CI)
- Strong automation mindset
- Good scripting / programming ability (Python)
- Solid grounding in networking, security, IAM and Vault
- Reliability- and cost-aware engineering attitude (SRE / FinOps)
