Job Summary
Solve complex problems in the daily operation of a hyper-scaler's cloud backend and work hardware-oriented at the console. Develop and operate monitoring and quality assurance while consistently automating with common automation frameworks. You will enhance the Open Telekom Cloud platform in a customer-oriented manner within a team of specialists who collaborate openly. This role requires minimum 2 years of professional experience in IT and securing Linux OS with a focus on modern cloud technologies, including software defined networks, routing, firewalls, and infrastructure automation. Fluency in English is required, and you must work in the European Union to meet data security and privacy requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Completed studies in a technical, engineering or scientific subject or comparable professional training
- minimum 2 years of professional experience in IT and securing Linux OS with a focus on modern cloud technologies
- Very good knowledge of software defined networks, routing, firewalls, IDS/IPS, Anti-DDoS, WAF and physical networks
- Extensive knowledge in infrastructure automation
- Strong experience in Linux and network related services and IT-Security
- High level of customer focus
- Knowledge of agile development processes
- Ability to assess technical solutions and come up with creative approaches
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- You will be working in the European Union to meet our customers' data security and privacy requirements
Desired Qualifications
- OpenStack and programming experience in open source projects is a plus
