Job Summary
Design and operate scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation. Manage container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes, while building and executing continuous integration and delivery pipelines to streamline build, test, and deployment procedures. Monitor infrastructure performance, cost, and security through automated alerting systems, and analyze manual processes to identify automation opportunities. Collaborate with developers and product managers to translate requirements into technical solutions, debug infrastructure issues, and address bottlenecks or security vulnerabilities. Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices, working with relational and non-relational databases to ensure high availability and reliability across production environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience working in Cloud Engineer–DevOps, DevOps or SRE roles or cloud engineering
- AWS Certified Developer – Associate or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional certification
- Hands-on containerization (e.g., Docker, ECS, EKS) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) experience
- Proven experience deploying CI/CD pipelines into production environments
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, ALB/NLB, etc.)
- Expertise in Kubernetes (EKS) – cluster setup, scaling, upgrades, and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in Python scripting/automation (boto3, automation frameworks)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline)
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)
- Strong Linux administration and shell scripting skills
- GitOps (ArgoCD, Flux)
- Monitoring & logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, CloudWatch)
- Service mesh (Istio, Linkerd)
- Security best practices (IAM, Secrets Management, Vulnerability Scanning)
- Problem-solving & troubleshooting ability
- Team collaboration & communication skills
- Good documentation practices
