Job Summary
Design the AKS cluster model for the Canadian segment and implement infrastructure improvements with zero disruption to business operations. Build an integrated end-to-end developer experience by combining owned AKS clusters with partner capabilities including CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and security services. Automate cluster maintenance tasks and operational workflows using Infrastructure-as-Code and AI-assisted tooling to reduce manual effort and improve deployment efficiency. Monitor and maintain the health, performance, scalability, and security of AKS clusters while ensuring compliance with enterprise risk and security standards. Collaborate with application development teams and capability-owner teams to align standards, integrate services, and deliver a cohesive platform experience.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in cloud computing
- Expertise in automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM, etc.)
- Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Azure OpenAI, or similar) to improve automation, troubleshooting, and enhance engineering workflows
- Experience operating or supporting shared platform services—such as shared Kubernetes clusters, CI/CD systems, observability platforms, or security/risk tooling
- Strong understanding of networking and security concepts
- Experience with Identity and Access Management (Azure AD, RBAC, workload identity)
- Proficiency with cloud networking infrastructure and distributed system patterns
- Hands-on experience with API gateways and cloud-based architectures
- Strong system administration background
- Scripting/programming proficiency (PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- Azure strongly preferred
- AKS experience is an asset
