Job Summary

Design and orchestrate AI-augmented developer platforms by architecting core components that integrate with approved AI models and MCP gateways to enable hybrid development workflows. Proactively identify workflow bottlenecks and enhance AI agent capabilities through structured prompting and system context communication. Rigorously validate AI-generated code, designs, and documentation to ensure security, performance, and adherence to architectural standards. Engineer scalable, reliable remote development environments on cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and design intelligent CI/CD frameworks using Java, Go, Python, or TypeScript. This role sits within Salesforce's AI-First organization, focusing on building a robust cloud development platform that enhances build and development cycles. The team is dedicated to improving developer productivity through hybrid human-AI collaboration.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • focus on building developer tools or platforms
  • Proficiency in high level programming languages like Java, GoLang, Python, Javascript or Typescript
  • familiarity with scripting languages like Bash
  • Strong experience with AWS, GCP or Azure
  • Strong experience in container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and their integration with cloud development platforms
  • Understanding of developer workflows, build processes, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Proven ability to work in agile teams and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Knowledge of secure software practices and performance tuning for distributed systems
  • Passion for improving developer productivity and experience
  • Proven ability to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving project needs
