Job Summary
Cloud Developer Internship at Bosch Engineering Center to develop cloud-native ADAS backend microservices within a dynamic, multidisciplinary team. Contribute to design, development, and deployment of scalable backend services, gain hands-on DevOps experience with containers and cloud infrastructure, and collaborate with mentors and cloud engineering experts. Ideal candidates are final-year Computer Science/Software Engineering/IT students with a strong backend foundation, proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js) or Java/Scala, Git workflows, English communication, and a passion for cloud engineering in an international environment.
Required Qualifications
- Final year Bachelor's or Master's student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or similar
- Strong foundation in backend software development, APIs, and microservice concepts
- Knowledge of modern programming languages (JavaScript/TypeScript with Node.js or Java/Scala)
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows
- Hands-on or academic/project experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) and CI/CD (GitLab CI)
- Proactive, structured problem-solving and clear communication in English
- Willingness to learn and work in a cloud engineering context
- Ability to work up to an eight-hour workday
- Interest in cloud-native ADAS solutions
Desired Qualifications
- Final year Bachelor's or Master's students in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or similar
- Hands-on academic or personal project experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Basic understanding of event-driven architectures and message brokers (e.g., Kafka) or in-memory data stores (e.g., Redis)
- Practical exposure to cloud platforms (such as Azure) and setting up CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Knowledge of modern programming languages: JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js) or Java/Scala
- Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative development workflows
- Commitment to continuous learning and cloud engineering excellence
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native ADAS solutions and backend microservices (desirable)
- Willingness to work in hybrid environment and balance exams/faculty activities
