Job Summary
Cloud Data Engineer SQL GCP responsible for designing, optimizing and managing data pipelines in cloud environments. Will work on data projects for French and nearshore clients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Key duties include mastering and optimizing databases with SQL (DML/DDL), participating in data modeling (star and snowflake schemas), designing and optimizing complex data pipelines, and working with cloud ecosystems (GCP, AWS, Azure). Must-have tools include Google BigQuery and DBT; also familiar with Snowflake, Redshift, Synapse, Apache Airflow, and CI/CD pipelines. Strong team collaboration, analytical mindset, and clear communication in French are important. Experience required: 3 to 7 years in a similar role; proficiency in multi-cloud data environments and data pipeline orchestration.
Required Qualifications
- 3-7 years experience in a similar Cloud Data Engineer/SQL role
- Advanced SQL (DML and DDL)
- Experience with data modeling
- Proficiency with Google BigQuery and DBT (must)
- Knowledge of additional tools: Airflow, Snowflake, Redshift, Synapse
- Experience with multi-cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- French communication skills (oral and written)
