Job Summary
Design and develop modular cloud-based applications on AWS, managing environments per security guidelines while deploying and debugging initiatives throughout the development lifecycle. Configure and monitor Linux installations, create secure cloud resources, and establish high-volume data flows using NiFi to perform custom transformations between formats. Collaborate with developers to evaluate optimal cloud solutions and assist in assessing new enterprise technologies, employing problem-solving skills to resolve issues before escalation. Requires active TS/SCI with polygraph, a bachelor's or master's degree, and two years of hands-on experience in AWS, Linux, scripting, and network security. Peraton drives national security missions by delivering differentiated IT solutions to government agencies and armed forces.

- Substitution of experience in lieu of a degree
- At least two years of hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas: Creating or Configuring AWS resources such as SNS, SQS, EC2, or S3, especially using CloudFormation or Terraform
- Configuring or Troubleshooting Linux servers/instances in a production environment
- Implementing production software/scripts in a language such as Java, Python, Bash, C, or others
- Configuring Network resources and incorporating Cybersecurity, including subnetting, routing, DNS, TLS, PKI infrastructure, SAML, OAuth or IPsec
