Job Summary
Plan, design, and develop cloud-based applications on AWS while managing environments per security guidelines. Deploy and debug initiatives throughout the development lifecycle, collaborating with developers to evaluate optimal solutions. Configure and monitor Linux installations, create secure cloud resources, and manage high-volume data flows using NiFi. Perform custom data transformations between formats and employ problem-solving skills to resolve issues before escalation. Assist in evaluating new enterprise cloud technologies. Requires active TS/SCI, Bachelor's degree plus eight years experience, and hands-on AWS expertise.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with relevant polygraph required
- Bachelor's degree + 8 years of experience, or master's degree + 6 years of experience, or PhD + 3 years of experience
- 4 years of additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
- Hands-on AWS experience (tools such as SNS/SQS, EC2, S3, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledgeable and experienced in at least one programming language (Java, Python, Bash/shell, C, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Cybersecurity and/or SecDevOps principles and practices
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and approaches
- Familiarity with Sponsor systems and interfaces
- AWS Certifications
- College degree in a relevant field
