Job Summary
Lead clients through the onboarding process with confidence and care, setting them up in QuickBooks Online, Wagepoint, and Dext. Complete cleanup and catch-up bookkeeping work, handle the first few months of bookkeeping to establish clean foundations, and identify issues from prior records. Document workflows and recurring client processes, then train and transition clients smoothly to the ongoing service team. Communicate clearly with clients, banks, and internal teams throughout the process while managing up to 15 clients with end-to-end monthly bookkeeping. This hands-on, people-focused role blends technical expertise with thoughtful communication within a female-owned, purpose-driven organization supporting churches and community organizations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work Eastern Standard Hours
- Have 5+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience
- at least 3 years in a bookkeeping or accounting practice
- Advanced QuickBooks Online experience
- Experience with cleanup and catch-up bookkeeping
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable leading conversations and building client trust
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with cloud-based systems
- Process-minded with a passion for creating efficient, scalable systems
- Someone who enjoys solving problems, untangling messy books, and helping clients feel supported
- capable of remote work in a space that is conducive to focus and productivity
