Job Summary
Collaborate with development, trading, and operations teams to design and implement deployment strategies for cloud applications and lead CI/CD integration to automate software delivery. Develop monitoring solutions to ensure application health, performance, and availability while working with developers to enhance scalability, reliability, and security. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for deployment and infrastructure issues, and assess new tools to improve DevOps workflow efficiency. Serve as a liaison between departments to foster effective communication. Requires extensive AWS experience (EC2, S3, VPC), scripting in Python or Bash, and familiarity with IaC, Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux networking.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience with cloud services and infrastructure, particularly AWS components such as EC2, S3, and VPC
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation tasks
- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and experience in implementing pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts and experience with deployment automation tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
- Knowledge of the Linux networking stack, including optimization and performance considerations
- Understanding of synchronization protocols like NTP and PTP for precise timing measurements
