Job Summary

Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures for enterprise-grade applications using Terraform to automate provisioning and lifecycle management. Define cloud adoption strategies, reference architectures, and infrastructure standards while collaborating with engineering, DevOps, security, and product teams to build cloud-native solutions. Architect networking, identity, storage, and compute solutions, optimize infrastructure for cost efficiency, and establish disaster recovery and high-availability strategies for mission-critical workloads. Provide technical leadership, conduct architecture reviews, mentor engineering teams, and monitor environments to troubleshoot issues and recommend performance improvements. Lead the design of secure, resilient systems aligned with organizational compliance standards.

Required Qualifications

  • 8–14 years of experience in software infrastructure, cloud engineering, or cloud architecture
  • Strong expertise in designing enterprise-scale cloud solutions on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform for provisioning, managing, and automating cloud infrastructure
  • Proven experience architecting highly available, fault-tolerant, and secure cloud environments
  • Strong understanding of cloud networking, virtual private clouds (VPCs), load balancing, DNS, storage, and compute services
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration platforms
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation tools
  • Experience implementing cloud security frameworks, IAM, governance, monitoring, and compliance best practices
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud-native design principles
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or similar
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and architectural decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities with experience working across cross-functional teams

Desired Qualifications

  • Professional cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect
  • Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Exposure to FinOps practices, cloud cost optimization, and governance frameworks
  • Experience implementing enterprise security, compliance, and disaster recovery strategies
