Job Summary
Design and develop scalable, secure cloud architectures that align with Steel Point's strategic objectives and technology roadmap. Define cloud strategies, evaluate emerging technologies, and oversee the deployment and integration of solutions across infrastructure, applications, and services. Collaborate with IT teams, business units, and external partners to gather requirements, optimize performance, and enforce security best practices and compliance standards. Create detailed documentation and provide guidance to development and operations teams on cloud technologies and best practices. Requires Top Secret/SCI Poly clearance, seven plus years of cloud architecture experience, and AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Clearance: Top Secret/ SCI Poly
- 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture, design, and implementation
- 7+ years of experience in designing and implementing secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions
- Proven experience with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), including architecture design and deployment
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect
Desired Qualifications
- A Master's degree or relevant certifications
- Additional certifications in security, DevOps, or related areas
