Job Summary
Provide technical oversight for new and existing SaaS implementations of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Salesforce, leading vendor solution design sessions to ensure efficiency and maintainability. Articulate design options with pros and cons while reviewing technical architecture deliverables to ensure quality, requirements traceability, and adherence to security guidelines. Lead workshops with customers to define technical requirements and align customization requests with long-term strategy. Compile internal development guidelines, oversee QA efforts, and manage CI/CD release processes for both platforms. Coach the development team on best practices for integration, application development, and testing while devising training plans for the transition to Maintenance & Operations. This hybrid-remote role requires onsite presence starting day one in Lansing, MI, for a one-year contract.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations with Enterprise clients
- at least 4+ years of experience with Dynamics CRM
- Minimum 5+ years experience leading Enterprise Salesforce implementation
- Minimum of two full lifecycle CRM or ERP implementations leading a technical workstream such as integration, data conversion or extension development
- Good understanding of LCS (Life Cycle Services) and Azure DevOps
- Experience in other technologies such as SQL, PowerBI along with good knowledge C# and the .Net framework
- Knowledge of end-to-end D365FO implementation and D365FO interfacing and integration
- Experience with D365FO interfacing and integration
- Demonstrated experience with Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations in the following technical areas: Data Management Framework (aka DIXF)
- PowerApps, LogicApps, Common Data Service and other Azure Services including Azure Functions, Azure Blob and Table Storage, Azure Event Grid, Azure Service Bus, Azure API Management
- Understanding of Synchronous and Asynchronous integration patterns
- Extension approach to customization versus overlayering
- Role-based security design and customization
- Extensible Data Security
- Report development and Power BI
- Code build and deployment via Visual Studio Team Services and LifeCycle Services
- Understanding of Azure Licensing and Costing is a Plus
- Good understanding of functional capabilities of D365FO: Financials, Inventory Management, Sales & Purchasing
- Must be local to Lansing MI
- Will need to be onsite starting day one for hybrid work schedule
