Job Summary
Cloud Architect AWS role at Presidio focused on designing and delivering secure, scalable cloud architectures for clients. Responsibilities include developing cloud design patterns, defining architecture standards, guiding DevOps implementation, acting as the technical delivery lead, mentoring the team, and assisting with pre-sales estimation and sprint planning. Requires extensive AWS/DevOps experience, IaC proficiency, container orchestration, security practices, and strong communication, with a senior-level, full-time engagement in India (hybrid remote).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field
- 8+ years in Cloud/DevOps/Automation
- 4+ years design/architecting cloud (AWS preferred)
- AWS Solutions Architect Professional and/or Specialty certifications
- Knowledge of networking, compute, security, backup, monitoring
- Proficiency in IaC tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible)
- Scripting (Shell, Python, Ruby, Golang, PowerShell)
- CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines)
- Container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, Fargate)
- AWS Serverless (Lambda, Step Functions)
- Cloud security posture assessments (AWS Security Hub)
- Well-Architected Framework and cost optimization
- Site-to-Site VPN/Direct Connect
- Large-scale cloud migrations
- BI/BD cross-functional collaboration
- Pre-sales support and project management
