Cloud & AI Security Architect

Job Summary
Lead efforts to integrate cyber defense and security operations capabilities into enterprise and subsidiary cloud environments across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI, ensuring consistent visibility and detection coverage. Partner with cloud infrastructure and application teams to enable, validate, and operationalize security controls, logging, and telemetry for cloud services and workloads. Define the roadmap for cloud cyber defense, including CSPM, threat detection, and incident response integration, while infusing automation and AI-driven capabilities into threat management operations. Collaborate with security operations to investigate complex cloud security events, train SOC analysts on alert triage, and draft business-level presentations for executive leadership. Support regulatory initiatives by validating controls against frameworks such as SOC2, PCI, HITRUST, and FedRAMP.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA in Information Technology or related field of study
- minimum of 10 years experience in systems administration and security aspects of information systems
- experience in access management
- experience in network security technologies
- experience in network communications
- experience in computer networking
- experience in telecommunications
- experience in systems development and management
- experience in hardware
- experience in software
- experience in data
- experience in people
- experience with multiple technical and business disciplines
- in-office 1-2 days per week
- reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s)
Desired Qualifications
- Cloud security certifications such as CCSP or CSP-specific security certifications
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
