Job Summary
Cloud Administrator (Tier 2/3) responsible for the implementation and deployment of Microsoft 365 solutions, maintaining security and monitoring customer environments, managing user identity and roles, enforcing security and threat management in the M365 Tenant, supporting migrations of Teams, OneDrive, Outlook and SharePoint; troubleshooting complex cloud, identity, and network security issues; acting as escalation point for Tier 2/3 incidents; leading remediation across Microsoft 365, Azure, and customer network security environments; administering government cloud environments (Microsoft Azure Government and Microsoft 365 GCC High) under government cloud eligibility constraints; collaborating to design and deliver Microsoft solutions and implement/maintain AVD solutions; supporting a hybrid work model from Athens, GA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or 4+ years of relevant experience
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal, documentation and writing skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent foundation in algorithms and design
- Self-motivated, highly organized and detail oriented
- Experience with Entra ID Management (user accounts, conditional access policies, MFA, self-service password reset, privileged identity management)
- Experience with Entra ID Connect and Hybrid Environment Management
- Experience managing Azure resources (VNets, Subnets, Peering, Azure VMs, IaaS basics)
- Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, diagnostic logging
- RBAC experience
- Intune/Endpoint Manager device enrollment and policy management
- Exchange Online management
- Management of Microsoft Defender tools
- Security best practices (least privilege, secure baselines, compliance controls)
- Experience in a support desk context (ticketing, SLAs, customer communication)
- Experience managing OneDrive, SharePoint Online, Teams, and Office 365 apps
- Network and firewall security experience (Azure Firewall, NSGs, UDRs); VPN technologies
- Experience with migrations (AvePoint Fly) and building virtual infrastructure in Azure
- On-call rotations or after-hours support experience
- Familiarity with Dynamics 365 CRM or ITSM systems
- Understanding of DIB/government cloud requirements and GCC High eligibility
- Ability to work remotely and collaboratively
