Job Summary
Cloud Account Executive for Salesforce Marketing in Higher Education is a quota-carrying, subject-matter expert role focused on evangelizing Salesforce Marketing solutions to Higher Education prospects. The AE collaborates with an Account Team to identify target accounts, generate opportunities through networking and prospecting, owns the full sales cycle for the Salesforce Marketing technology stack, and aims to meet/exceed quarterly and annual quotas. The role emphasizes driving revenue, brand awareness, lead generation, accurate forecasting, and high customer satisfaction, with travel as needed and strong ability to present demonstrations and partner with solution engineering. Experience with the full Salesforce Digital Technology Stack, outside enterprise software sales, and the ability to operate both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-growth environment are key requirements. The position supports remote work across multiple US states (CA, AZ, CO) and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of outside enterprise software sales experience
- Digital Marketing sales experience
- Experience with the full Salesforce Digital Technology Stack
- Ability to travel as needed
- Be a team player; able to work in a co-prime/overlay sales role
- Strong professional presence and business acumen
- Experience selling at the C-level (e.g., CMO, CDO, CADO) is a plus
- Ability to demonstrate products and create compelling scenarios with solution engineering
- Independent and collaborative in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Proven track record of sales excellence as an individual contributor and in a team setting
- Comfort with virtual selling via online meetings, Hangouts, and conference calls
- Engagement with Higher Education organizations
