Job Summary
Assess the value of donated items based on condition, quality, and market trends, then apply pricing strategies to merchandise effectively. Utilize pricing tools to maintain accurate and consistent pricing across all product categories while monitoring inventory levels to optimize sales and turnover. Collaborate with Pricer Support personnel to ensure coverage and accuracy during absences, and maintain documentation of all pricing decisions. Communicate pricing updates to team members and management while adhering to company policies on pricing, customer service, and safety. Support store initiatives and promotions through effective pricing execution.
Required Qualifications
- Must have the ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- Must have the ability to frequently exert up to 25 lbs of force
- Must be capable of safely and effectively performing essential job functions in accordance with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be proficient in performing repetitive motions such as extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction
- Must be skilled in tasks involving seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hand or hands
- Must be capable of maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces
- Must possess clarity of vision at 20 inches or less and 20 feet or more
- Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced and busy environment
- Must be able to work effectively in a noisy environment
- Must be able to work effectively in a bright environment
- Must have effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have a high degree of flexibility
- Must be able to switch tasks or departments based on operational needs
- Must be able to work in all areas as assigned
- Must have a fundamental understanding of written and spoken English for comprehending instructions
- Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English

Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail pricing or related field preferred
- Knowledge of thrift store operations and merchandise categories is a plus
