Job Summary
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on high-speed SACMI compression molding equipment, blow molders, and automated manufacturing systems. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime and rebuild machine components. Utilize computerized maintenance systems to complete documentation and collaborate with production to ensure peak performance. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while adhering to OSHA regulations. Work flexible 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed to support production.
- The regular schedule will be a 3x2x3 schedule consisting of 12 hour shifts.
- Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated control systems.
- Understanding of or ability to quickly learn high-speed manufacturing equipment.
- Interested in Continuous Improvement and able to thrive in a self-directed environment.
- Understanding of and ability to follow applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Must be able to bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds while servicing equipment.
- Visual acuity to inspect machinery, read schematics, and safely perform maintenance tasks.
Desired Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Three years of stable work experience with one employer may be considered in lieu of a diploma.
- Technical training or experience in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, mechatronics, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience maintaining high-speed manufacturing equipment, particularly SACMI compression molding or blow molding equipment, is a plus.
