Job Summary
Translate operational and business requirements into structured datasets, dashboards, reports, and digital solutions using Power BI, SQL, and Excel. Develop business intelligence to improve visibility of rehabilitation progress, cost, and risk while integrating data from planning, survey, and production systems. Work directly with stakeholders to gather requirements, redesign inefficient processes, and drive continuous improvement for closure plans and engineering designs. Prepare concise technical information for decision-making and governance reviews. This role supports Newlands closure through a combination of civil engineering, project delivery, and data analytics functions.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in mining, rehabilitation, closure, civil earthworks, project delivery or another relevant heavy-industry environment
- Demonstrated capability in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, database concepts or workflow automation
Desired Qualifications
- Approximately five to seven years'relevant profession experience
- Operational knowledge of Python, C++ or C# and utilising AI tools
- Experience in Power BI, Power Query, SQL or comparable tools
