Closing Team Lead

Closing Team Lead to oversee closing and funding operations for a fast-growing Non-QM mortgage platform. Lead and manage all Closers and Funders, coaches and provides performance oversight to ensure loans are closed and funded accurately and on time. Coordinate with Disclosures, Underwriting, Capital Markets, and Operations to resolve issues and ensure a seamless end-to-end closing and funding process. Monitor pipeline activity, closing timelines, and funding schedules to meet service level expectations; review complex or high-priority loan files for policy and documentation compliance; ensure closing packages and funding conditions are complete and accurate prior to disbursement; manage escalations related to delays, funding issues, or documentation discrepancies; track and report on team performance metrics including turn times, productivity, and quality; identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce errors; support audit, compliance, and quality control initiatives with accurate documentation and reporting. Must be able to work in the Pacific Standard Timezone and contribute to a high-performing team within Champions Funding’s Non-QM lending platform.
