Job Summary
Closing Manager responsible for grocery department operations, supervising the store, executing marketing plans, maintaining inventory and displays, coordinating fresh food production, overseeing front-end operations, enforcing safety standards, coaching staff, and delivering exceptional customer service. Requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of retail grocery experience preferred, ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays, and the physical ability to move and handle merchandise up to 50 pounds; employment is contingent upon evaluations such as a PEP survey, drug screen, and background checks.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
- Minimum one year experience in a retail grocery store preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
- Adaptable to different situations and the ability to respond with flexibility to shifting priorities and rapid change.
- Moves, lifts, carries and places merchandise and supplies weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Stands and/or walks continuously throughout shift.
- Employment at Harps may be contingent upon completion and our evaluation of a PEP survey, drug screen, employment reference check and criminal background check.
