Job Summary
Manage all functions of the Jimmy John's restaurant to ensure exceptional customer service, high-quality product delivery, and profitability. Direct successful execution of fast, accurate sandwich preparation while maintaining a clean, organized shift. Supervise a staff of 3 to 15 employees, handling hiring, training, evaluation, discipline, and termination. Oversee food ordering, storage, and issuing to minimize waste, and route deliveries to maximize speed. Complete daily and weekly paperwork, audit systems, and conduct manager meetings. Perform opening procedures, meat and vegetable slicing, and bread production as time permits. Work all hours and days, including a minimum of 50-60 hours weekly, with physical demands of standing, bending, and lifting 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent training
- Completion of recommended corporate training programs
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Current automobile insurance
- Clean driving record
- At least 19 years of age
- Stamina to work a minimum of 50-60 hours a week
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to handle and resolve customer threats and issues
- Ability to handle and resolve employee issues
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision
- Ability to handle stress and high-volume operations
- Oral and written communication skills
- Interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, motivate employees, elicit work output and deal with customers
