Job Summary
Manage all functions of the Jimmy John's restaurant to ensure exceptional customer service, high-quality products, and profitability. Direct staff of 3 to 15 employees through hiring, training, evaluation, and discipline while establishing labor goals and pay rates. Oversee food preparation, sales, and service operations, including ordering supplies to minimize waste and auditing shift-ending paperwork. Route deliveries, serve drivers, and conduct weekly manager meetings to maintain 100% integrity in systems. Complete daily food preparation, control cash drawers, and arrange preventive maintenance on equipment. Work all hours, days, and shifts including on-call rotation, with a requirement of 50-60 hours weekly. Must hold a valid driver's license and ability to lift 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent training
- Completion of recommended corporate training programs
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Current automobile insurance
- Clean driving record
- At least 19 years of age
- Stamina to work a minimum of 50-60 hours a week
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to handle and resolve customer threats and issues
- Ability to handle and resolve employee issues
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision
- Ability to handle stress and high-volume operations
- Interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, motivate employees, elicit work output and deal with customers
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with a retail food company is a plus
