Job Summary
Team Member in a restaurant setting responsible for guest service, food prep, restaurant cleanliness, and teamwork. Duties include greeting guests, recording orders, and serving food and beverages with a positive attitude; assist in preparing items per menu while following safety, sanitary, and cooking procedures; operate kitchen equipment such as ice cream dispensers, fryers, and warmers; maintain daily restaurant cleanliness including tables, floors, utensils, and restrooms; address guest questions or concerns professionally and escalate as needed; follow the DHC Training Program to learn new skills and duties; communicate with supervisor for additional training; wear a uniform and adhere to policy; work with teammates to meet performance expectations and restaurant costs; must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays; must have reliable transportation and strong time management and interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications
- Current student or high school diploma/GED preferred
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude while conducting any and all duties
- Effective communicator with co-workers and the restaurant management team
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. comfortably
